Not your standard ring

I’m in that time of my life where everyone around me is either having a baby or getting married, so naturally I’m intrigued about rings, designs and stones, I mean more so than usual. There will be times I’m scrolling endlessly getting an absolute dopamine spike with the aesthetic jewellery shots and I come across engagement rings that have a visceral effect on me. Not necessarily diamond rings, although I mean who doesn’t fantasise over these, but rings that are immaculately crafted, with detailing like no other and stones that look like they encapsulate other worlds. Now you’re probably like, okay get on with it, you’re obviously referring to someone, and yes, yes I am. I am referring to Lavender Creek Gems. These rings are honestly what I dream about. I did not know the extend of sapphire and diamond colourings until I got lost in an endless scroll on their website. Now despite their rings being truly incredible with coloured stones, there’s one diamond ring- ‘The Sitara Ring – 4CT Old Mine Cushion Diamond’ that I’m utterly obsessed with, the design is unlike anything I’ve come across. Lavender Creek Gems creates these portals on beautifully crafted sculptural silhouettes, infinitely more interesting and unique than a standard band and diamond -sorry.

To stay on this train of thought, unique engagement rings, let’s talk about Cadette Jewelry. They bring an element of elevation to engagement rings, they’re uniqueness of the banding, bringing in angles and obscurities that work alongside the ring, make it almost impossible to not fall in love immediately. Now I don’t know much about rings and their settings. I’m sharing what I have found and what I enjoy to peruse through in my free time. I’m not going to get into the technical side of how the stone is cut but I do want to talk about their ‘rapture rings’. I’ve linked a picture below so you can visualise what I’m talking about. There’s something so cool about having two structural end points that elevate a standard diamond ring. I also love how much thought has gone into naming this design of ring. They mention on their website that “to be in ‘rapture’ implies the experiences of intense bliss”, a beautiful connection to those linking this to their engagement.

Now I could ramble on about a million different jewellers but lets be honest no one likes to read anymore so I’ll just steal your time a little longer to talk a bout Shahla Karimi Jewelry. Now unfortunately they’re based in the New York, which is a hike from London but doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate nice shiny things, right? There is something that comes over me when I’m scrolling through their Instagram page. I’ve not come across these unique designs when it comes to diamonds and I’m very much here for it. Their collections range from striking statement pieces to one-of-a-kind silhouettes and delicate, timeless designs. They’re got everyone covered and know exactly what they’re doing. I highly recommend having a look at their incredible pieces.
